Love is the opening of the heart, the welcoming of your beloved. Loving is not secure, authentic loving is risky. Security lies behind the walls of a closed heart. You either invite the union by opening in love, or you secure the isolation by closing down.

Random stuffs.
I’m not yet done with my 27 before 27 project. I got inspired the last time to do it but I think it’s best to wait until I am more settled with my life? here. So I’ll probably finish it by then.
Ok, I did it. I cried to my mom and told her my sitch (bitchy situation). I felt so much better after.
I went out last friday, we had a sunny day so I went out and felt the warmth. I did some shopping too. I bought a black blazer and a pair of shoes. That deserves another post.
And oh, when you are a bum here and on a limited budget, watching movies is the best thing to do. It’s cheap and it kills time. Last week, we finished Lord of the Rings. Great series! Legolas is love! hehehe! And oh, I love that Aragorn ended with Arwen. –true love waits.

My precious!

Dear Ajang,
Hi, how are you? You see, I am sad– again. The hormones did it again… and you know what my hormones are capable of… well, it wasn’t that bad, I just wasted 16 precious minutes over the phone, arguing.. (to myself coz he was just listening, being himself). It was supposed to make me feel better but it did not. I am crazy, and he knows it. I just hope he is stubborn enough to stay.. because, I think this time, I screwed it.
Anyway, I finished watching sex and the city movies 1 and 2. We watched SATC 2 together, but you didn’t really pay attention, so I hope you see that movie again. So you could say that you’ve seen it, nothing more. Wala naman inspiring.. just the clothes.
There, I love the earrings in you recent blog post. Are you throwing those too? Keep it ok, kasi it might get lost since binati ko. Keep it safe! haha!
Love,
Me

Until you learn to stop comparing yourself to others or to stop thinking that the grass is always greener on the other side, you will never, ever evolve as a person.

I’ve lived independently since High School. I learned how to clean the house, do the laundry, budgeting etc. That’s why my friends kept on telling me, I can survive living abroad– alone. The problem is, I never learned how to cook. I know the basics, I can fry, steam, stew but never really got the chance to cook real food. I wanted to try baking too, but I believe that’s a talent I never had.
Anyway, I did learn how to make pastas. I love pasta! So I know how to make Baked macaroni and bolognese. When I learned that Joey’s mom is a great cook, it kind of pressured me to learn cooking as well. So I tried making Kaldereta and Beef Nilaga! (Boyfriends make the best customer, they will never complain). Joey loved it, aaawwww!
Anyway, I’ve noticed here in NZ, food are quite bland for my taste. You will find “No salt added” labels on most products. I am sure, once I get my own flat, I’ll be cooking more! Grocery shopping here is love!
But I what I absolutely love here in NZ is that they have nice desserts, Ice creams are good, chocolates and milk are everywhere. Pretty cheap as well. Can’t wait to make my own desserts.
Here’s one of my to do things:
Pavlova
Pavlova is the national dessert of New Zealand, named for the famous Russian ballerina, Anna Pavlova. This dessert, made of meringue, whipped cream, and fruit, is said to be lighter than air and was created as a tribute to the light and graceful dancer. Australia also claims credit for the invention of pavlova, however, old cookbooks tend to weigh heavily on the side of Kiwis.
